Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board sets its own grading and certificate patterns, and parent communication has to reach families in Kannada and Hindi. These are configuration, not customisation.
Grade bands, pass rules, internal assessment weightings and the printed report card layout are configured per board rather than hard-coded, so the KSEEB pattern and the PU pattern each print correctly from one marks entry. Compartment, supplementary and improvement cases are identified automatically under the rules that apply to that board, rather than found by reading a list.
Fee demands, attendance alerts, examination schedules and circulars go out in Kannada, Hindi or English by SMS and through the parent app, on a schedule set per fee head so a transport arrear does not trigger the same sequence as unpaid tuition.
